This Privacy Policy explains how Teasty Recipes processes personal data when you visit teasty-recipes.com, contact us, or choose optional analytics and advertising services. The website operator is based in Germany. Operator and contact details are available in the Legal Notice.

1. Data Controller

2. Hosting, Security, and Delivery

The website is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare. When you request a page, technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser, device information, and response status may be processed in server and security logs. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, prevent abuse, maintain availability, and diagnose errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where processing is strictly necessary to provide a service you requested, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may also apply.

Security and access logs are retained only for as long as operational, contractual, or legal requirements make this necessary. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area using an applicable adequacy decision or other safeguards recognized under Chapter V GDPR.

3. Contact Requests

If you use the contact form or send an email, we process the information you provide, normally your name, email address, message, and related technical anti-spam data. The purpose is to answer your request and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual requests and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence and security. We do not offer user accounts or social-media login.

5. Google Analytics and Google Tag

6. Google AdSense

Teasty Recipes uses Google AdSense to fund the website. Depending on your region and consent choice, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Personalized advertising and optional advertising storage are used only when the required consent signals are available. Google and participating advertising technology providers may process identifiers, IP address, device data, viewed content, interactions, and fraud-prevention signals. 7. Translation and External Content

The optional translation feature uses Google translation infrastructure. Activating translated content may send your IP address, requested page, language choice, and technical browser information to Google. External links take you to third-party websites whose own privacy policies apply.

8. Legal Bases, Recipients, and Retention

We share personal data only with service providers needed to operate the website, when you have consented to an optional service, when required by law, or when necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Processing is based on consent, contractual necessity, legal obligations, or legitimate interests as described above. Data is deleted or anonymized when the relevant purpose and mandatory retention period end.

9. Your Rights

Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. Exercising a right does not affect the lawfulness of processing completed before a withdrawal.

10. Children and Automated Decisions

This general-audience recipe website is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children through accounts or targeted submissions. Teasty Recipes does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means.

We may update this policy when services, legal requirements, or data flows change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
